St-Elisabeth Hospital Dec 2022-Apr 2023

Four months, four artworks! Some of our pieces are exhibited at Europe Hospitals St-Elisabeth from December 2022 until April 2023 in the main hallway. For 4 months, 4 artworks decorated the walls of this big institution. The purpose of this residency was to have a positive impact on both patients and care staff as art is said to be beneficial in hospitals because it can create a more welcoming and healing environment. It can help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and overall well-being, and provide a sense of distraction and normalcy. Additionally, art can also help to create a sense of community and connection, which can be especially important for patients who are isolated or have limited social support.
